1) Anders Celsius was a Swedish astronomer who proposed the Celsius temperature scale.

2) The freezing point of water was originally defined as 0 degrees Celsius by Anders Celsius.

3) Anders Celsius also set the boiling point of water as 100 degrees Celsius on his scale.

4) The Celsius temperature scale was later named after Anders Celsius to honor his contributions.

5) Scientists widely use the Celsius scale, introduced by Anders Celsius, for measuring temperature.

6) Anders Celsius was born in Sweden in 1701 and passed away in 1744.

7) The Celsius temperature scale developed by Anders Celsius is based on dividing the range between freezing and boiling points of water into 100 equal parts.

8) Meteorologists around the world rely on the Celsius scale, an invention of Anders Celsius, for reporting temperatures.

9) The Celsius scale designed by Anders Celsius is widely used in most countries for everyday temperature measurements.

10) Anders Celsius's work in developing the temperature scale with 0 as the freezing point and 100 as the boiling point has greatly influenced modern thermometry.
